UNIVERSITY ADVANCEMENT HAS THE FOLLOWING POSITION AVAILABLE:
POSITION:DIRECTOR – CORPORATE RELATIONS
Position available to raise philanthropic support for university priorities and programs by developing and maintaining relationships with corporations. Duties will include the following: developing and executing annual fundraising business plans; maintaining a prospect portfolio of at least 150 and meeting individually with prospects and volunteers; making personal gift solicitations; overseeing and managing the work of the Assistant Director of Corporations; attending university events and volunteer meetings, often during the evenings and weekends; attending Advancement meetings; sharing the management of a support staff person; and staffing and supervising any other projects as assigned. Travel as necessary.
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required. Experience should include three to five years of development-related work, preferably including fundraising, volunteer management, strategic planning, and personal solicitation. Experience in program management, including budget oversight, data analysis, and event management is desirable.
