Lead a department with both undergraduate B.S. in Speech Pathology and Audiology and graduate M.S. in Speech-Language Pathology - CAA accredited programs. Provide departmental leadership; serve on departmental, college and university committees; participate in the governance of the college with the Dean and other chairpersons; teach undergraduate and graduate courses in the area of expertise; academic advising of students; and fundraising.
Earned doctorate and CCC-SLP. Candidate must currently hold rank at either the Associate or Professor level, and have an established record of excellent teaching, scholarly and creative activities and publications; evidence of an active research agenda, and college service. Higher education administrative experience is highly desirable; familiarity with accreditation procedures for professional programs; background in collegial governance with demonstrated leadership in higher education; ability to contribute to the advancement of students and faculty in a diverse academic and civic community; an educational vision that embraces innovative programs and delivery systems offered locally, nationally, and internationally; and a commitment to the Jesuit educational mission and philosophy of the University.
